  • I've been involved with many aspects of software solutions with roles in sales, marketing, channel management and consulting. I run IDC's channels and alliances research team, a growing group that both writes reports on the industry and consults with large hardware and software vendors on their channel partner strategies. Previously, I worked for two IT solution providers (Microsoft Gold Partners), and ran the Microsoft Partner Program in Canada.

  • Mr. Alfredo Castellanos is a Managing Director at Evercore Mexico Capital Partners. Mr. Castellanos runs Evercore Mexico Capital Partners and is responsible for fund raising, investment research, due diligence, structuring, execution and supervision of the investments. He has extensive business experience with companies in Latin America, specifically in Mexico. Previously, Mr. Castellanos founded Actimart. Mr. Castellanos' previous work experience includes private equity throughout Latin America at Banc of America Equity Partners; mergers and acquisitions at BT Wolfensohn; and strategic management consulting at McKinsey and Company. He was responsible for structuring three of Protego’s private equity transactions, More Pharma, Iké and UmbralCapital, and currently serves on the Boards of Directors of those companies. He serves as a Director of Grupo Axo, S.A.P.I de C.V. (Grupo Axo). Mr. Castellanos is fluent in Spanish, English and French. He holds a B.A. in Economics from ITAM and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
