Steven Farris, chairman and chief executive officer of Apache Corp.

He joined the company’s Board of Directors in 1994, was appointed chairman of the board in January 2009, and has served as chief executive officer since May 2002. In February 2014, Mr. Farris also assumed the title of president. He served the company as president and chief operating officer from May 1994 to February 2009, as senior vice president from 1991 to 1994, and as vice president — Exploration and Production from 1988 to 1991.
